    3. I want to obtain a marriage certificate for a marriage that took place on 17 Dec 1860 in Leith. Looking at the Scottish GRO website it says that you can apply at the local Registration Office where the marriage was originally registered. Does anyone know what the address would be for Leith and whether it would be any quicker than applying directly to the GRO in Edinburgh? -- Best Wishes Angela <boon.bluecats@dtn.ntl.com> Pettistree Homepage http://www.pettistree.suffolk.gov.uk/

There are no records stored at Leith Registry Office , Ferry Road ,Leith, they would have to apply to New Register House for a copy of the certificate and then send it on to you. Regards. John D.
