Hi Listers Many of you will know of this site, but it's so useful and interesting, I thought that it would be worth sharing! It's the Statistical Account of Scotland site at Edina. Don't be put off by the 'Statistical' title. The Accounts (1791-99 and 1845) are descriptions of Parishes all over Scotland. Written usually by the Parish Minister, they give a sometimes vivid account of life at the time. Sorry if I'm teaching my Granny to suck eggs! Jim Cairns
