Does anyone have information about John Muir, writer, resident of S Kirk Parish in 1755, who married Elizabeth Farquhar in that year? I believe they had two children, John and James, born in 1756 and 1758, in Edinburgh. John Muir's father may have been James Muir of Netherwarrenhill and Peniflates (according to Services to Heirs....). Robin Kinloch
