    3. Hi Dawn Funny that you should post about Adam Robertson as I to have been trying to research a Adam Robertson this weekend. This Adam is a link on my mothers side through Jessie Menzies Robertson. I did find something on the 1891 census that he was living in the parish of St. George and was married to Elsbeth with a son William age 2 yrs. I have been trying to find connections of information to James Robertson as I believe he died somewhere between Jessie's birth and the 1881 census, as Jane is remarried to a Ferguson. I have narrowed it down to six James Robertson's who died in that time span in St. George, using Scots Origins. But to hit on the right one I'd most likely have to order all of the death certificates. That's why I was searching for another clue to help me along. I could not find any record of birth or marriage. The marriage date I have noted is taken off the birth certificate of Jessie. Interesting to note that the first children were born before the noted wedding date, or someone wrote down the wrong date. Also searching Alexander Robertson born Duns 1851, thought he may be related. As his occupation on the 1881 census says he is a Coal carter, and James and his first two sons were coal porter/ coal banks man and third son Francis was a carter. Anyway if any connections to your Robertson's please let me know. Sandra. 1. JAMES ROBERTSON was born Duns Berwick.. He married JANE CRAIG 10 June 1860 in Duns, Berwick, Scotland.
