Hi Listers, My g g grandfather James Reid died a pauper aged 71 in the combination poorhouse Inveresk 15 Jan1869.Does anyone have any information on this place? Would his wife Mary have been with him as seems to be implied by the name? Whereabouts was it actually and is any information available on a website for instance? I would appreciate any bit of information you may have as I don`t know anything at all at the moment. Thanks, Bill Wood
