I am new to this list and am looking for anyone who may have a link to the above.ROBERT JOHNSTON, coalminer aged 21 wed a MARY MEENEY aged 22 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Coatbridge on 03/09/1874. Robert's parents were a John Johnston and Mary (nee Aitken) while Mary's parents were a John Meeney and Margaret (nee Flynn). Robert and Mary had children: Margaret Johnston b 1876; Robert Johnston b 1879; James Johnston b 1880, d 1886; Mary Johnston b 1884; William Johnston b 1885; Annie Flynn Johnston b 1888 and Andrew Johnston b 1891. Robert is the one remaining sibling of my grandfather Andrew Johnston (b 1862) that I have not been able to trace after the 1891 Census. After advertising in the Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser I have found 4 new cousins but Robert's kin continues to be elusive. Here's Hoping Danny Kerr in Australia
