My ancestor Andrew FARQUHARSON appears in the 1841 census in Edinburgh, aged 65, Sheriff's Officer, not born in County. In the 1851 census only his daughters Catherine, Christian and Mary were at that address and Andrew and his wife Lilias GRAY were "deceased" on Mary's marriage certificate in 1855. Are there Wills available for that time or are there any records relating to his occupation that might help me trace his birth place and/or parents? Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks.
