I am new to this list. I am helping a friend research his family the Dobsons. Early in the 1800's Adam Dobson emigrated to Canada from Inverleith Scotland. In Scotland, his family had operated a woollen mill. Adam operated a woollen mill in either Beaverton or Cannington, Ontario, Canada after he emigrated.
