I recently found my missing 'cabinet maker' James LESSELS, about whom I have been whimpering for nearly 2 years. (Directly due to a wonderful researcher, reasonable and efficient.) All my tribe hail from Fife - Abbotshall mainly, but also nearby parishes of Dysart, Kinghorn, and later in Dunfermline and Edinburgh. I'm 'proved' back to: John Lessels who married Mary CAIRNIE in 1783, and a distant relative Aird McIntyre, has traced the line back to Andrew LESLIE who was married to Elizabeth MOORHEAD about 1676 in Abbotshall.
