Dear Listers, I am knew to this list and would like to post an interest. I am researching my paternal great-grandmother Elizabeth Ellen HAY born in Edinburgh in either 1847 or 1855 (depending on the source you pick!) or somewhere in between!!!!. She married William FARROW in 1874 in Essex. Her father was James HAY. I have not been able to find any details on FreeBMD or the on-line IGI and I would very much appreciate if someone could tell me the best way of pursuing this.
