Can anyone help? My great grandfather Robert Peattie born c.1838 married my gt.grandmother Elizabeth Johns(t)on(e), born c. 1843 on 22/9/1864 in London. They were both born in Scotland and from small items I have inherited I would think it was Edinburgh, although I met my third cousin Nellie Johnson when I visited Glasgow in the late 1950s. Both are common surnames, but someone out there may already have come across my gt. grandparents. Robert Peatties father was also a Robert Peattie. My grandmother was Elizabeth Peattie, with siblings Jessie N., Robert C., and Mary I.
