Good afternoon Edinburgh, I have some new information on my McBean family that lived in Edinburgh (1850s) and was attempting to research street names. The site that spoke to old street names was, I believe, at http://www.edinburgh.org.uk/. It appears the site is down or has moved as I have tried access for several days without any luck. Can anyone give an update on this web site? Bob
Hi Bob You may have another site in mind but the URL I have is http://www2.ebs.hw.ac.uk/edweb/edc/welcome.html which is part of EdWeb (http://www2.ebs.hw.ac.uk/edweb/welcome.asp) I've just checked it and it works. Hope this helps Ann ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob Sampson" <sampsonb@home.com> To: <SCT-EDINBURGH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 21, 2001 2:53 AM Subject: [EDB] Street Names > Good afternoon Edinburgh, > > I have some new information on my McBean family that lived in Edinburgh > (1850s) and was attempting to research street names.
