Dear Listers, Does anyone have access to either the 1841'51'61'71 census for Edinburgh. l am desperately looking for James ADAMSON. l have a couple of address that may help. 27, Alva Place, Edinburgh, Greenside .. residence mid 70's 47 Lady Menzies Place Edinburgh .. shop mid 80's 45, Lady Menzies Place Edinburgh .. residence mid 80's 11, West Montgomery Place .. shop mid 80's and under 27, Alva Place Edinburgh, Greenside mid 70's l am looking for James ADAMSON Father, NOT James ADAMSON son, Baker. l have no information at all for this man, there is no information on his marriage cert. l do know that he was dead by 1881.
