Can any one please provide some information on John Rattray who was involved in forming the thirteen articles of golf and was the first winner of the Silver Club in 1744. He was also an archery champion the winner of which had his named attached to a silver arrow. I am interested in any aspect of his life or achievements but would be particularly interested to hear more about the archery championship which I believe was held on Leith links. Does the silver arrow still exist? Many thanks David Rattray
