I sent a US international post office money order last year - very unsatisfactory. You pay the local post office the US dollar amount you want to send, they send the request to St. Louis, Mo., and from there it went to a bank that converted the money to pounds stirling, who in turn mailed it. I started this process in Pennsylvania and the last postmark on the envelope was Gibraltar before it's final destination in Scotland. If i remember correctly, it took about 12 weeks. Cathy
