    3. Hello Forrest, sorry to be so rude and but in, but noticed that you mentioned Golf Clubmakers were buried here. Are there any PAXTON Clubmakers at all here please. I Am asking as my Paxton's were Golf Professionals and Golf Ball Makers and Club Makers. My 2X Great Grandfather James Paxton born in Musselburgh in 1830 and my Great Grandfather James Paxton born 1860 born in Musselburgh but died in 1921 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Also George Paxton son of James Paxton and Elizabeth/Betsey Sharp and brother of my Great Grandfather James Paxton. George Paxton Golf Ball Maker died in May 1884. Just thought I would ask just in case they were buried here. George and James Paxton also had another brother named Peter Paxton who made Golf ball's and Gold Clubs they were all born in Musselburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. Peter Paxton born in 1857 and died at 1, Old Church Road, Romford, Essex, England. and is buried in Crow Lane Cemetery, Romford, Essex, England. Any Information would be appriciated. 3. Forrest Sorry, no military connection that I'm aware of, mostly Cabinetmakers and Golf Clubmakers. I'm looking for the burial place of my great-great grandfather, Thomas AITKEN, of Thomas Aitken and Sons, Brunstsfield Place, who died in February 1919. On a visit to Edinburgh, I spent a couple of days walking round nearby Cemeteries but didn't find anything. Recently I found a funeral notice in The Scotsman which stated that he was to be buried in Morningside Cemetery. He was the widower of Elizabeth AITKEN, nee VEITCH. Elizabeth appears in the 1891 Census so she died between 1891 and 1919 but I haven't been able to pinpoint the date yet. It's possible that she had been buried in Morningside. Also some of their children may be buried there - Alexander AITKEN, Golf Pro at Gullane, who died in Edinburgh in 1944 Adam AITKEN, died 1899 James AITKEN, died 1943 Samuel AITKEN, ? Another son, my great-grandfather, John AITKEN, is buried in Portrush, Co Antrim, where he was Clubmaker to Royal Portrush. However there is an published index of the gravestones (which unfortunately doesn't give forenames in the printed version), and if you can give the name and any other details, then I'll try to find them in the index. Additionally, if there is a military connection to the grave, I may well have a photograph of the stone. Forrest -- Forrest Anderson, Edinburgh, Scotland. 3. I also have MORRISONs in Edinburgh. My g-g-g grandfather, Archibald (born 1823) married Susan JACKSON in 1854 in Birmingham His father Thomas (born 1792) married Janet DICK in Edinburgh, 1820 - they had eight children, I have the details if anyone thinks there may be a connection. Thomas's father was another Archibald, I don't have his birth date yet, but he married Margaret ANDERSON in 1782, Edinburgh. So far, I have found three of their children. Most of the marriages and baptisms took place at St Cuthberts.
