George Greenfield and Ann Allan are direct ancestors of mine. Their daughter Catherina was the older sibling of Archibald b 1778. Archibald m Margaret Brown. Their daughter Margaret married my gggf, William Wright 1831 in Prestonpans. Interesting fact: Margaret's brother George Greenfield married William Wright's sister Jean. Confused yet? I have the descendency of Archibald pretty well mapped out and corresponded with a Greenfield 'heir' recently. Info available if desired.
