I came across a Richard Herkes m. 1800 to a Mary Keith. However no list of children but looked up Mary Keith and found one parents James Keith & Agnes Dawson. If you are familiar with Scottish naming history, you will know that it was practice for children to be named after grandparents. Hope this has helped. Good luck.
