Hello list, My gggrandparents, who imigrated from Garvald and Haddington in 1854 named their property in Australia "The Grange". On maps old and new of Garvald there is an area just outside the town called either The Grange or Garvald Grange. Would someone be able to tell me what this area what it might be? Hi Therese, Just wanted to mention that my g. grand uncle called his property in the western district of Victoria "Garvald Vale" - they must have really liked that area of Scotland. Ruth.
