We think James died Dec 2, 1897 in Ormiston. Mary was born in 1858 at Fountain Hall (where is that?) I understand it is in East Lothian. She died Oct 22, 1941 in Ormiston. Her parents were William ROBERTSON and Janet RUTHERFORD. James and Mary had several children: Janet (married William LYAEL), Catherine (married John HILL), William born Oct 5, 1884, House O Muir, Scotland. Died March 24, 1968 in Ormiston. Married Agnes Kerr SMITH February 27, 1909., David (married Robena RICHARDSON), Margaret (married William BLACK), and James (married Ethel SMITH). Agnes Kerr SMITH's father was John SMITH and mother was Marion KERR. They were married in 1883 in Tranent. Their children were: Catherine, Agnes Kerr (married William GORDON), Thomas, Elsie, Christina, Andrew, James and John. Robert McKENDRY married Annie REDPATH in Tranent in 1897. They had at least one son, James. James died in December 1957 in Edinburgh, cremanes were scattered from the tower of Tranent Parish Church. He married Agnes SYME April 21, 1922. She died in February 1938 in Tranent.
