hello list, a while ago I sent a request concerning Hall Laing who married Jane Guthrie in 1799 in Liverpool and then moved to the Sunderland area. He was a shipwright. His first son was baptised in Sunderland in 1801 and Hall was noted as being a native of Dunbar NB. Since I sent this email I had an incident with my computer and has lost some addresses. Someone very kindly offered to look up the Parish records in Dunbar to look for his birth (around 1779 ish) but unfortunately I have lost his address.
