I have a William Hogg married a Helen Scott on 20 Apr 1872 in the Parish of Whittingehame. William was born in 1844/45 and his father was James Hogg but I do not know his mother's name as it is not on his death certificate. Helen Scott was born in 1851 and her father was David Scott (1827) and her mother was Helen Burns (1832) they were married in 1845 in the parish of Yester. Are their any links there with yours?
