William ROBERTSON and Sarah LEE were my 2x great grandparents. William was born in TRANENT in 1811, parents John ROBERTSON and Janet SWAN. Sarah LEE was born 1819 in Cowlay, Oxford. William and Sarah settled in DALKEITH where William was a Master Tailor and Clothier. She died 1860, he died 1890. They had at least 10 children: Janet 1838, Jane 1839, William 1840, Richard 1844, Mary 1846, Margaret Bow 1848 (my great grandmother), Sarah Ann 1850, Catherine 1854, Elizabeth 1855 and Isabella Esther 1858.
