Geoff Thanks for your prompt reply.These parents certainly seem a possibility - although Helen & Peter's first son was John b.6 June 1796. James was b.29 March 1799. I was given another possible set of parents for Helen Burns from a lister - John Burn b. 1753 at Yester and Margaret Lamb. Are you able to suggest if these are possible - or can I rule them out?
