I am trying to find record of a marriage for Lt. Col. James Stuart who was a son of Robert Stuart 7th Lord Blantyre and brother of 8th, 9th and 10th Lords. He was killed 17 March, 1781 at Battle of Guil(d)ford. His three children, Anna Maria (m. Thomas Brooke EIC), James Stuart EIC and Charles Stuart EIC were beneficiaries in the Will of their uncle, Hon. Charles Stuart (brother of Lt. Col. J.Stuart) of New Norfolk Street, Park Lane , London when he died in 1821. Anna Maria was apparently illegitimate but her two brothers may not have been. Other niece & nephew (beneficiaries in will) were Oliver and Margaret Colt children of Charles's sister Helen Colt of Half Moon Street, London. Any help or suggestions ???
