Hello list, Does anyone know where Perflit was in 1754? It is on the Baptism page of one of my ancestors. The OPR is for Salton Parish and the handwriting is quite legible. Regards, Gil. Hall. Hello Gil First thing that came to mind when I read the word Perflit was another similar word - Purfleet. Its a place somewhere south or south east England. The different accent could account for spelling. OR have I just muddied the waters!!
