Doug, I have some LUMSDEN names loosely connected w/ my family. I have seen the name spelled variously as LUMSDEN and LUMSDALE in the OPR's for Prestonpans. Robert LUMSDEN married Elspeth PRIDE, who I believe to be the sister of my 8g-grandfather James PRIDE.
