Hello Jim, the earliest Begbie I have is Alexander Begbie b.1824 Jock's Lodge Edinburgh married 30/7/1858 to Isabella Reid at Leith Midlothian.My wife's family I have a John Scott [Longniddrry] married to Joan Watt [Gladsmuir] at Edinburgh 1/2/1785, my family line. I have an extensive Grieve family tree from my wife's side starting with Thomas Grieve [Kirknewton] Midlothian married to Isabella Hodge [Cramond] Edinburgh] c. 1800 Kirknewton up to the present day.
