If you do have a Haddington connection, do you know the names of her parents or grandparents? I have McLauchlan links in Haddington. We might be able to share info.--not at my own PC just now so cant remember all the details, but Samuel McLauchlan married Elizabeth Watt early 1800s were bakers in Nungate Haddington.

However no record of her death in Haddington post 1855. She was alive in 1851. Will probably have to make another visit to haddington and search through the internment books although that probably won't reveal much.

Its pay to use but it is the official records site. If Jane Graham died after 1855 you should also be able to trace her death cert there too. Hope this helps Kelly
Hello ! These two exemplary sites, produced by David Walker, have quite a few Hepburns and Hepburn information. The complete 1841 census is on line and searchable free. It should give you the date, but a google search will do that as well. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Graham Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XeC.2ACI/1210 Message Board Post: Looking for information on Robert Graham born in Haddington around 1828 (no mention on OPR). His mother was Jane Graham aged 45 in 1841 census and born outside county which would be right for my search. Think this guy was a slater and appears in later censuses. Also quite a few entries in the Haddingtonshire courier index--although i have never been able to view the actual reports (criminality i think). I am really trying to establish what his mothers maiden name was and fathers christian name to link him to my family. He died i believe in 1892 in Haddington. Or the death of his mother would also be benificial as this might also shed light on her husband and her maiden name.
