Jill Have you tried www.friendsreunited.co.uk ? Its worth a try if you know what area your friend was schooling at. We have had two good results from the late 1960,s Best Regards George ( in wet, ever so wet Yorkshire ) ps anyone out there building an arc yet?
I apologize for being off-topic, but I thought I'd post just one time to see if anyone might be able to put me in touch with a pen friend I had around 1970 when I was in grade school. Her name was Olwen Armstrong and she lived in Tranent. When my husband and I visited Scotland last May we were in East Lothian doing some family research. We drove to Tranent and I was able to locate the house she lived in with her family. I know it's really a long shot, but if the name rings a bell with anyone on the list who might live in the area and know the family, please e-mail me privately. Thanks! Jill (Syers) Clark
