I thought it worth while just once again letting everyone know that I am interested in Hamilton's in Caithness. Top of my tree and my 3 x great grandfather is James Hamilton born in Clyne Sutherland c 1786 who married Ann Cameron from Golspie. They moved to Bower, Caithness around 1815. If anyone else is interested in this family, I would love to hear from them. One son, Alexander went to Melbourne,Australia sometime after 1851 and before 1871. My 2 x Great grandfather William Hamilton b Halkirk 1818 married Matilda Thomson and had 8 children. My Great Grandfather, George Hamilton born Watten 1866 married Helen Campbell McKay and they managed 7 children. My grandfather, William Hamilton was born in Resolis, Ross in 1892.
