Hi Tommy I saw your message about Swansons on the list. My Mother's Mother was Elizabeth Swanson born 1892 in Scarsfskerry Dunnet and her family had been there from around 1855 and before that in Mey Canisbay. There does not seem to be any link to your Swansons but one of my grandmothers old friends. I think he may have been a school friend, was a Geordie Manson who had a croft somewhere south of Castletown. I have wonderful memories of a holiday there about fifty years ago.
