    3. Hi everyone I think I may have found my James TAIT on the IGI, but need some advice. James TAIT married Elizabeth MACKAY, 02 Jun 1815 Latheron, Caithness & one week later James TAIT married Betty MACKAY, 09 Jun 1815 Halkirk, Caithness Is this likely to be the same couple? And if so, would they have married twice because they came from different parishes, holding a ceremony in both? If such was the case, which parish is likely to have been the groom's & which the bride's? Any suggestions welcome regards Lyn Wolf Manangatang Vic Australia

    3. Maybe they were different religions, or maybe they had a ceremony for each family. Thank God they dont all do that.
