Hi Iain, Thanks for pointing that out, yes Catharine was a Robertson sorry about that mistake. Does anyone know where Shinnins and Balneceil are? And has anyone got any idea why she maybe known as Manson and not Swanson. I see from dates that she was pregnant before she married - Where could Manson have come from ? Maybe if she was said to be from Caithness at the Christening then the birth details I have for her are correct. Has anyone got any ideas?
