I had been doing research on the famiy Malcom II who was the King of the Scots. now I had his daughter married to Sigurd Digi HLODVIRSSON. But someone from the GEN-MEDIEVAL list told me they believe she was a different Malcolm's daughter Malcolm of Caithness. Any idea who this person maybe. Malcolm MacKenneth was killed in 1034, by his men. He supposedly had three daughters Bethoc, who married my ancestor Crinan MacDuncan, and one that married MacBeth McFindleach's father, and the youngest who married Sigurd Digi HLODVIRSSON. A couple of people on that list told me not to trust the Orkneyinga Saga nor History of The Kings of Norway because they were written many centuries after the events.
