i am researching the OAG surname (as originating in Caithness) concentrating on the female lines as much as possible. i don't have a whole lot of information other than that shared by Valerie Oag who has done a straight line back to Elspeth FARQUHAR and Alexander OAG. However, my ggrandfather was born William OAG in Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness to John Oag (parents William O. and Margaret FORBES) and Isabella BREMNER (whose mother's maiden name was also BREMNER) (parents Alexander and Elizabeth BREMNER).
