Hi Laura, I can't help you with any BREMNERs but perhaps you can help me. I am trying to find information on a Isabella BREMNER and John ROBSON who married in Canisbay about 1745-1750. I believe Isabella used Elizabeth as her name at the wedding. They had a son John in April 1750. One of my ancestors was John ROBSON married to Isabella ????? who appear in Elsdon Northumberland in 1750 with a son John born that year. I can't find any John ROBSON marrying an Isabella in Northumberland in a reasonable time scale so I am investigating the pair from Canisbay. Do you know of them? did they have any more children in Scotland? or did they emigrate to the colonies? If either of these possibities then they can be eliminated from my enquiries. John Robson
