BURIED: Dirlot cemetery and the Table stone reads as follows: Robert GUNN farmer Achscorclet and wife Charlotte SUTHERLAND, erected by son William GUNN, and uncle John SUTHERLAND 22.11.1857 We have information in the family as noted by an earlier family historian that Robert GUNN was a soldier in the 79th Regt. of the Cameron Highlanders. Any information on Robert GUNN and his family would be most appreciated and I would like to make contact with anyone else researching this family. I would be grateful if someone could perhaps tell me where Achscorclet is located. Is this somewhere near Dirlot. Thanks & Regards to all.
