My ggggrandparents Alexander GEORGESON and Isobel DOULL married in Knapperfield, Watten on 17 January 1801. From the Old Maps and Streetmap sites this appears to be a farm rather than a village. Can anyone give me more information about this as I am looking for if possible an old and modern photo to include in a family memoir that I am putting together for my mother's 80th birthday.
