    3. Hi Pam Thankyou for that. I have both her marriage & death certificates, and she is Jessie on both of them. Is it likely that she would have been christened Janet in Scotland, and use Jessie on official Australian documents? Her granddaughter, my grandmother, was christened Jessie. I used to think it was short for Jessica, but it was just Jessie.
