I found the following notation, which could be the clue I've been looking for: "SUTHERLAND, John - 11/3/1861 - Farmer at Achnahavish, Braemore, parish of Latheron, husband of Isabella GUNN / Wick Sheriff Court." I'm praying this man is John SUTHERLAND born Kildonan who married a widow in Glutt of Braemore (bride's name unknown). The will is not available yet. In the meantime, can anyone tell me anything about Isabella GUNN and her husband John SUTHERLAND, the farm or Achnahavish?
