I am a new lister, though I have a Thurso connection since my father was born there and there was a chemist's shop there, D.D.Cairnie, for two generations. I am seeking information about a marriage of James HALL and Isobella PRINGLE in Thurso 30 May,1851. James came from a seafaring family in the Invergordon area, and was himself at sea around that time, so that may be what brought him into the Thurso area. Any comments would be welcome.
