Hi Chris A contact of mine has a wealth of information on the Bains in Latheron. I've forwarded your e-mail onto him so hopefylly he wil be in touch. He's a Bain from Latheron, or his fathers is anyway! I have a book on Lybster which has loads of information on the families in the area and lots of photos - there's Bain's and Sutherlands in that. The difficult lies in which ones are which. I think a lot of the photos were provided by the Bain family so........
