My great great great grandmother was a Mary Hammers Harmon who had a child with Henry Kinsey (whom they also named Henry Kinsey, born 1832, per the Kinsey family history. ) I have heard of Native American ties in my family and have hit dead end walls, and have somehow wondered if it is this Mary Hammers Harmon. My people come from the Westmoreland County area of Pa. I have come across one story of a Andrew Harmon kidnapped by Seneca Indians near Stalstown Pa in 1777 and adopted by Chief Cornplanter.
