This family is shown in the 1881 census living in Fordyce on Old Cullen Street: James Taylor, Head, M, age 53, Oridquhill, Ag Lab Isabella Taylor, Wife, age 50, Inverkeithny Christina Taylor, Dau., unmarried, age 25, born Ordiquhill Adam Taylor, Son, unmarried, age 11, born Portsoy Ann Taylor, dau., unmarried, age 9, born Portsoy John Sandison, boarder, unmarried, age 63, Inverkeithny The above John Sandison is a brother to Isabella; Isabella was my great grandfather, Peter Sandison's sister. The marriage certificate of James Taylor and Isabella Sandison show witnesses as George Taylor and Alexander Taylor. Their daughter, Ann Taylor married a Henry lawrence on March 10, 1893 in Portsoy.
