I made an error when I posted this last night - Margaret's maiden name was DAVIDSON and not Sandison. I have a Margaret Davidson, who married my great-grandfather, Peter Sandison in July 1852 in Boyndie, Banffshire. Her death certificate information as follows: Margaret Sandison m. to Peter Sandison, Crofter d. 5 April 1908, 1 pm at Cookston Croft, Parish of Brechin, Age 76. Her parents were Alexander Davidson, Road Contractor and Helen Stewart. In the 1881 Census they are living in Brechin and she lists her birth place as Fordyce. They are both buried in Brechin Smithbank Cemetery, Lair 77, Compt. 1. (no stone). Any connection with anyone's Davidson family? ey
