I was looking at a rough copy of part of my family tree and I saw a George Stables married to a Kate. In brackets there was a Dod by her name. I have been searching for a Kate DOD. Interesting enough , my grandfather was one of George Stables brother by the name of Alexander Stables. He married a Annie Moir Edmond. I believe both of her mother's parents had died and they were taken in by family or neighbours and my grandmother was named after, I believe the woman that took her in by the last name of Moir. I am not sure if she was Anne Moir but I have seen a copy of a death certificate of an Anne Moir that had a grandson's name of James Stables on it. My grandfather's father was a James Stables so this may have been co-incidental with the names or there may be a connection. Interesting, to say the least.
