Using my gg grandfather as a starting point, William Lovie b1821 and d1902 in Boyndie had a sister Margaret b1831. She m Alexander Levenie 1854 in Whitehills. They had Janet b1855 and Alexander b1859. Son Alexander would m Jane Pirie. Again using William Lovie, his parents were Mary Priest b1793 in Fordyce and John Lovie b 1791 in Boyndie. John's parents were Margaret Lovie b1767 in Boyndie and James Lovie b1791 also in Boyndie. Margaret's mother was Jannet Watson who m James Lovie of the Banff parrish. HTH Cyndie
