His parents were Alexander Reid and Margaret Reid, nee Sutherland. William married Elizabeth Andrew b. 1-13-1868 in Craighburach on 6-29-1895. Her parents were William Andrew and Isobel Andrew, nee Wilson. William and Elizabeth Reid immagrated to Govan, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1911 with their children, Billy, Isabella, Robert, Margaret, George, Elsie and Lawrence.
