New to this List, have no relatives here [that I know of yet] but did receive a film at the local Latter Day Saints Family History Center of 1856 Deaths in Morayshire which had Banffshire included. Parishes were 145 [Aberlour] to 167 [Seafield]. If you wish to get the data from any known death occurring in 1856, I'll send the information or a scan of the image itself. I realize the only place you might know of an 1856 death is to have gotten the Index hit from ScotlandsPeople.gov.uk/ which is not something a lot of subscribers may have done. If you'll cut me some slack [be reasonable in your requests], I'll see what is in the film for your names. I'm up to my ears in requests now from other counties, please be as specific as you possibly can and make sure to write in the Subject line : 1856 Deaths BANFFSHIRE or it may end up in the wrong folder and I'll not know its Banffshire.
